In loving memory of Eric Holliday. Sadly lost his battle with cancer on 24 August 2008.

Eric was the father of Ellen, brother of Julie, Pat, Karen and Stephenie, uncle to many more.

Erics great love in life was music - especially Tina Turner and Abba.

I miss you already, Uncle Eric, but I know that you'll be watching over us all.

Hey Eric

I knew you for 20 yrs or more and have many memories of you as part of our Family.
I remember pacing the corridors of St James the moring Ellen was born with you and sinking a few gins in celebration when we got home,we all partied a lot from time to time and we had some fantastic laughs,I remember your Short hand typist impression..those who know you will remember that, and of course your love of Miss Turner and Abba,Queen and many more. I remember sticking cheezees up your nose with Sarah one night when you fell asleep!!!..I thankyou for driving me everywhere especially my major move to Norwich from Leeds.
There are many memories and it so sad that you had to go so soon and in such a way.Your greatest success was without doubt Ellen Louise, and I know the love you had for each other and still do..look out for her now, more than ever.Be happy Eric Rest in Peace and one day i will see you...your probably the new night security on the pearly gates xx Ruth

Uncle Eric

You will always be in my heart Uncle Eric

I still have the picture of when me and Ellen dressed you up in grandmas scarf and covered you in makeup. I remember helping you play resident evil and I recall the day you got your drivers lisence and took me and Ellen for a drive after we begged and begged! I remember abba and tina turner and watching movies on that old vhs player you had in the attic on Conway Street....

Ill never forget you and I hurt for Ellen, you were her everything and she yours.

Remembering Eric

My Uncle Eric - Billy to many people for many years. I have fond memories from a very early age of a fun loving person who used to take me shopping on Roundhay Road and push my little trolley along for me. You, Auntie Karen and my mum were thick as thieves back then.

You were like a big brother back then and later when you moved on to our street with Sarah and baby Ellen, I was pleased as punch that I had my favourite uncle living just up the road. I remember you as the chancer and practical joker who always made me smile with your impressions. Chasing Ellen round the garden pretending to be a monkey sticks in my mind because we all screamed with laughter that day.

You were always trying to think of ways to make money - you planted a load of cabbages at the bottom of the garden one summer only for them to get infested with catapliiars which made thier way to the house!!!

As the website says, gone too soon, but you'll be in our hearts and minds always - I know that I'll always think of you when I listen to any kind of motown music or Tina Turner or Michael Jackson.
